MLP G3 Sunfading Test and Reroot Prep (also rust NIGHTMARE!)
Today I worked on a few G3 mlps I got on eBay. I cleaned out and prepared a Scootaloo and Goody Gumdrop for re-root and found a TON of rust!!!! The inside was like, the darkest red. I totally forgot to take a picture though :( I am supposed to be getting the re-root stuff this week, so hopefully I can show some photos of them all done next week.
I also did a simple wash and style on a G3 Spring treat I got! Here is a photo:
I also started some sunfading with 30 vol. salon creme developer on a stained Rhapsody Ribbons and a Precious Gem with highlighter spots. I know 40 vol. is best but 30 is what I've got, so I'm gonna try it out! I will update next week with some before and after photos (if I remember to take them!).
This week's collection additions are: Monster High minis Abbey Bominable (my first of these, she is very cute!), 3 Glo-Up Girls (Alex, Erin, and Rose; they are very cute! I like them more than I though & I got them on clearance for half off!), Mari from Mermaid High (also sooo cute! I'm bummed they are discontinuing the line), and Barbie Fashionistas #170 (I've wanted her for a while, the fashionistas aren't the best quality but she is very cute esp for the price.).
**In the future I plan on having more photos, I'm waiting on a light box to arrive so they look nice!!**
